Disney tops global box office for seventh year in a row

Disney has topped the global box office takings chart with $4.9bn last year.
The box office revenue is broken down into $2bn from within the US and $2.9bn from overseas. Disney released 16 films last year, including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and most recently Avatar: The Way of Water.
The studio has now been number one at the global box office every year since 2016.
