Mediatel Events rebrands to Adwanted Events

Mediatel Events has officially rebranded to Adwanted Events.

The name change was unveiled in London Thursday at Adwanted Events’ invite-only event, The Year Ahead.

It reflects a brand synchronisation with media services and technology company Adwanted Group, which acquired Mediatel in March 2021. The change also follows the 2022 rebrand of Mediatel’s publishing arm, Mediatel News, to The Media Leader.

Adwanted Group, founded in 2012 by CEO Emmanuel Debuyck, has additional offices in New York and Paris.

The Adwanted brand will continue to be rolled out to more Mediatel products in the UK as the year progresses and the group launches into new areas.

Steve Scaffardi, head of Adwanted Events, commented on the rebrand, stating:

“The change to Adwanted Events represents a significant step in our goal as an international business to replicate the great work we have achieved across our event and publishing platforms to new markets, but as far as the direction of travel and all the amazing things this team have done over the past three years, it is business as usual.”

Scaffardi added: “The name might have changed, but the values, work ethic and dedication to produce insightful, informative, educational and topical conversations is something we will continue to strive to deliver to the media industry, in the UK and to our ever growing international audience.”
