Eurosport, the pan-European satellite sports channel, has issued its first penetration figures since its merger with Screensport on March 1 this year. Lufthansa is to sponsor the Financial Times weather forecast from June 9, in a deal worth £100,000. The paper aims to upgrade its weather coverage following the deal, with enhanced maps and increased editorial. The contract was co-ordinated by Nigel Pullin of the FT who is looking into further possibilities for sponsorship within the paper.
