Vivid Goliath plans to ‘cut through clutter’ with Havas Entertainment

Vivid Goliath, the toys and games company, has appointed Havas Entertainment as its UK media agency of record.

The company, created after Goliath acquired Vivid Toy Group in 2018, wants to achieve “brand standout” and use media to create “meaningful moments in culture” that will “cut through the clutter” and resonate with children and parents in a fragmenting media landscape.

To do this the Havas Media Group entertainment agency will plan and buy media with a “digitally-led” approach across TV, video-on-demand, digital, and social channels.

Vivid Goliath is planning to launch a slew of products, including Sky Dancers, Animagic’s Gecko, Recyclings, Casefiles, Glow Station, and Chicken Poo Bingo.

Darrell Jones, Vivid Goliath’s marketing director, warned there is “no longer a one-size-fits-all media solution” for the company as its portfolio grows and diversifies across toys, games, and arts and crafts.”

Jones added: “We have all seen how the media landscape has evolved, diversified and fragmented and we believe Havas Entertainment are well placed to help develop and execute our media strategy, with their creative and digital capabilities as well as their agile approach to assessing campaign effectiveness.”
