JCDecaux posts 17% growth as OOH sector rebounds

JCDecaux posted 16.6% year-on-year growth across the whole group.

Its digital out-of-home revenue grew by 35.2% on an organic basis to make up nearly a third (31.4%) of group revenue.

Programmatic advertising revenues through VIOOH supply-side platform doubled to €61.3m, or 5.9% of digital revenue for 2022.

JCDecaux’s number-one client category for the full year 2022 was Fashion/Personal care and Luxury Goods bringing in 17% of total revenue. Meanwhile Entertainment/Leisure and Travel rebounded from the pandemic with 31% and 54% growth respectively.

Looking forward, the outdoor company predicted adjusted organic revenue growth around 2.5% for Q1 2023.
