ITV has agreed to a partnership with StudioCanal to carry its StudioCanal Presents content on the ad-free version of streaming service ITVX.
Expected to launch on ITVX Premium this spring, the deal will see over 400 films added to the paid subscription tier of the service, such as Paddington, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Imitation Game.
StudioCanal also owns the content rights for international TV series such as The Silence of the Lambs prequel Hannibal, the dystopian drama Years and Years, and French procedural Spiral.
