ITV appoints new director of media for equity fund
In brief

Sheena Amin will replace Niko Waesche as director of ITV AdVentures Invest.

Waesche set up and ran ITV AdVentures Invest for two years, but is returning to Europe for personal reasons.

Amin (pictured, main) joins ITV from BBC Studios channel business UKTV, where she was director of its media-for-equity programme UKTV Ventures, which she launched and ran over several years.

In that role she led investments in companies such as PitPat, ClickMechanic and Beelivery and served as a board member on the BBC Studios Executive Committee.

Prior to UKTV, Amin had commercial roles at Dixons Carphone, Virgin Media, and Summit Partners.
