‘I’m A Celebrity…’ attracts peak 10.3 million viewers

ITV’s launch episode of the new series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here was watched by 9.1 million viewers.

This was an increase of over one million viewers on last year’s opening episode, which ITV said was its highest rating of the year and the biggest programme launch on any channel this year.

ITV said 2 million TV viewers aged 16-34 tuned in to the launch show last night, making it the biggest audience in that age category of the year across any programme or channel.

These figures do not include catch-up or streaming viewing.
