Ex-Pamco client chief Alison Finch joins RSMB

Alison Finch has joined RSMB as a client account lead.

Tasked with responsibility for Rajar, she will oversee RSMB’s work on Rajar quality control, sampling, weighting, processing and reporting of UK radio listening.

Finch was previously client services director at Pamco before leaving in April 2023 amid a number of other departures at the organisation.

She has also previously spent time at the National Readership Survey, Bauer and Capital Radio (now Global).

RSMB, an independent company jointly owned by Kantar and Havas, provides media solutions, including audience research, for the media industry. It is best known in the UK for working with Rajar as well as Barb, the IPA TouchPoints planner and the UK’s implementation of CFlight.

Recently, RSMB was awarded a two-year extension to its Rajar contract and this year it began a new six-year Barb contract, under which the company’s methodology for CFlight trading audiences has recently gone live.

“I’m delighted to be joining RSMB,” said Finch. “The company has earned a reputation for excellence and innovation in audience research over many years and I look forward to applying my experience to meeting the measurement challenges of the industry as it continues to evolve.”

Chris Mundy, RSMB’s CEO, added: “Alison has a wide range of skills and brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Having worked at the NRS and then Pamco, she has experience in delivering smooth operation of industry currency. And having worked previously at Bauer and Capital, she understands how audience data is used by the business.

“She also brings expertise in media owner commercial operations, which will be extremely helpful as we continue to develop our services.”
