BT ends YouView contract with Pace

According to reports in the Financial Times, BT has terminated its contract with Pace who were due to provide its YouView boxes.

BT has been partnering with set-top-box manufacturer Humax since its YouView box launch in October, with the intention of using Pace boxes at a later date.

Humax are already providing the YouView boxes for rival telecomms company TalkTalk.

TalkTalk has recently announced that since its free YouView box offer, they have installed 29,000 TalkTalk YoUView boxes, with a further 1,ooo being added each day.
