Brainlabs appoints first Europe CEO outside UK

Brainlabs has named Agnieszka Kosik as CEO of its Poland operations as part of the company’s global expansion plans.

It is the first European chief executive role the company has created outside of its UK headquarters and follows the “digital-first” media agency’s recent private-equity investment from Falfurrias Capital Partners.

Kosik’s remit will be to “rapidly build out” Brainlabs’ brand and operations in Poland. Next year she will expand this to build the agency’s capabilities across the Central and Eastern European region.

Stephen Allan, Brainlabs executive chairman, said: “[The hire] is a significant moment in Brainlabs’ accelerating growth journey as we officially open for business in Poland, an important gateway to the entire CEE region.

“Poland has some of the brightest and highest performing talent across Europe, none more so than Aga herself.”

Kosik joins from Meta where she worked for more than three years as head of Poland. Prior to that she was CEO of MediaCom Poland, and has also held managing director positions at Maxus (now Wavemaker) and OMD Poland.
