Boots’ Pete Markey to chair AA’s Front Foot Network

The Advertising Association has appointed Pete Markey, chief marketing officer at Boots UK, as chair of Front Foot, its network of advertisers, media owners, agencies and tech companies.

Front Foot was founded in 2010 and comprises more than 90 companies including advertisers, media owners, agencies and tech companies, to “shape the future of responsible advertising” and fund Credos, UK advertising’s thinktank.

Markey takes over from Mark Evans, former managing director of marketing and digital at Direct Line Group. As chair he will represent this network on issues including trust, talent, inclusion, and climate action through initiatives like Public Trust, All In and Ad Net Zero.
