Marketing intelligence and digital media business MiQ has been named the best overall media owner to work with in the latest IPA Digital Media Owner Survey.
The survey – released twice a year and conducted with a panel of planners, strategists, buyers and digital specialists – saw 90% of respondents agree that the overall experience of working with MiQ was a positive one.
Quantcast achieved the second highest figure at 85.1%, while Mail Metro Media and Captify followed at 84.8% and 84.6%, respectively.
MiQ led the rankings in eight categories, including ease of contact, understanding of own products and provision of creative solutions.
Alongside Twitter, the business was also the most broadly improved media owner since the last survey.
“We always look very closely at the IPA Media Owner Survey results as it’s our customers telling us how we’re doing,” said Giles Ivey, UK CEO of MiQ.
“To be top 5 is always a great feeling. To top the rankings again is amazing, but to be the first business that has scored above 90% is something we’re really proud of, and testament to the work our teams have made in using insight to drive great responses to briefs and in making sure the service we offer to deliver these targeted ideas is world class.”
Ivey added that agencies need agile, fast and flexible partners “now more than ever”, as the market becomes “volatile” and “uncertainty abounds”.
“Digital media is with people whatever room of the house they’re in and at every time of day. And when they journey away from home. Whatever the future looks like, we’re here to help people connect better with their potential customers.”
