Adverttu rebrands as Drovo and launches ‘carbon-neutral’ DOOH

Transit media network Adverttu has rebranded to Drovo and launched a digital network of 50 “vehicle-topper” screens.

The fleet of cars will have two-metre-long internet-connected smart screens, which can display dynamic content based on location, weather, time of day, or proximity to a point of interest.

Advertisers will be able to buy this through HiveStack’s demand-side platform and a thousand more screens will be added in the UK in 2023.

The screens use an internal battery that is charged either by an on-board generator or regenerative braking, which Drovo said uses much less energy than a standard bus-shelter digital six-sheet.
