18m interactive projection wall goes live at Birmingham airport

Interactive wall

A new 18 metre interactive projection wall has been installed at Birmingham International Airport.

The interactive wall – billed as the longest motion triggered interactive projection screen in Europe – is formed of 10 digital projectors.

It was conceived by McCann Erickson as part of the ‘Welcome to The Heart of England’ campaign to engage the 27,400 passengers who pass through the terminal each day.

The wall will be used over a three year period by Advantage West Midlands, with 23 West Midlands businesses and household names – including Jaguar Land Rover and Cadburys – featured in the interactive animation.

Digital creative agency Clusta were charged with creating the animated content, which follows passengers as they walk down through the digital corridor.
