Time Inc UK, publisher of brands including Marie Claire, NME and Look, has said that up to 111 journalists could lose their jobs as it looks to restructure its current editorial model.
On Friday, a Time Inc spokesperson said: “We’re in the process of transforming our editorial model to give us the best opportunity to leverage our heritage, scale and audience to deliver more value to our customers.
“111 editorial roles are at risk across the business. We have begun consulting with those whose roles are at risk. All staff are being thoroughly supported through the process and where we are able to redeploy them, we will.”
Time Inc said the redundancy process is currently voluntary and it will not comment further until the consultation process if complete.
