Xaxis announced today it has named John Wittesaele as president, EMEA.
In his new role Wittesaele will be responsible for leading Xaxis’ strategy and operations across the company’s 25 markets, and will help to drive growth for Xaxis specialist companies including Triad Retail Media and Bannerconnect.
Wittesaele joins Xaxis from GroupM Connect where he served as managing director. Prior to that, he undertook other senior roles at Quisma and GroupM Interaction, where he launched both Xaxis and Quisma in the Belgium market. Wittesaele also spent 10 years at AdLINK in a variety of sales and management positions.
“John has played a leading role in the development of programmatic advertising across the EMEA region, and has a great track record of helping advertisers adopt effective marketing strategies,” said Nicolas Bidon, global president of Xaxis.
“I look forward to his leadership in driving further growth for our EMEA operations.”
