Ulster TV To Revamp Image

Ulster Television is planning to reveal its new identity on June 4, in an attempt to overhaul the corporate image. The station is refusing to disclose details of the changes until the relaunch day.

BSC CRITICISES BSKYB VIOLENCE

The Broadcasting Standards Council has conducted a monitoring report on sex and violence on television, using a panel of 600 viewers over several weeks in 1991 and 1992. On average 2% of the programmes broadcast on BBC and ITV after the watershed caused offence – 7% believed this to be the case for satellite channels.
