Time Inc. UK CEO to become Magnetic’s new chairman
Magnetic, the marketing body for magazine media, has announced the appointment of Time Inc. UK CEO Marcus Rich as its new chairman.
Rich will replace Mark Cranmer who is stepping down to focus on other business ventures after almost two years in the role.
“Mark’s knowledge and experience has been invaluable in setting Magnetics foundations over our first two years,” said magnetic CEO, Sue Todd.
“He has been instrumental in driving more collective action from the sector and I have enjoyed working with him immensely. Marcus is of course already close to Magnetic and I look forward to having greater input and his ongoing support for big initiatives to help prove the contribution of magazine media.”
Rich added: “It’s a dynamic time for magazine brands, with opportunities for advertisers changing at a pace. We have only just begun the job of better evidencing the effect that our unique and highly engaging magazine environments offer advertisers. I look forward to extending my role from one of founding partner to a more active role as Magnetics chairman.”
