The Media Leader is launching a new podcast this week as we continue to develop our publication’s growing audience across different platforms.
The Media Leader Podcast, hosted by me and my colleagues, will feature audio interviews with media industry figures, debates, and the best discussions from our live events.
Our leading roster of media commentators will also appear regularly. As regular readers will know, our columnists pull no punches when it comes to holding our industry to account.

Aren’t there enough podcasts already?
Of course you can download and subscribe via all the popular podcast players, as well as play the episode free from our website as soon as they are published.
However, we’re going to do things a bit differently compared to what you may be used to from publications in our space.
We will aim to publish at least two episodes per week. The vast majority of our episodes will be short; they will range from 5 to 15 minutes and we don’t expect you listen to all of them.
We understand that not everyone wants to listen to ‘work stuff’ outside of work, and we want to make this podcast inclusive for busy people who may only want to dip in and out of particular areas of interest. Much like our website articles, our podcast content will span TV, audio, out-of-home, social media, ecommerce, publishing, as well as broader issues affecting the whole of commercial media. It’s a big industry and you’re all invited.
Our first episode launches later this week and we have lots to share with you in the coming days. If you have suggestions or comments about The Media Leader Podcast, then please do contact me directly.
