Rajar Q2 2023: commercial grows share on smart speakers

Smart speaker listening grew quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year, now accounting for 14.4% of all listening, according to the latest Rajar audience data.

Within that commercial radio increased its share of smart speaker listening to 17.4% from 12.7% in Q2 2022.

Total combined digital listening accounted for 68.6% of listening, mainly DAB (40.3%) but also online (24.9%).
