Radio Clyde Holdings, the USM quoted broadcaster announced pre-tax profits of £1.53m in the six months to the end of March 1993. This is an increase of 81 per cent on the previous half year figure of £843,000.
John Bowman, Finance Director, said “Local revenue is at a record level for us. National revenue is recovering from the sharp drops we have seen recently”. He noted that ad. revenue could be volatile but felt that growth was satisfactory.
