Battersea Power Station has appointed Ocean Outdoor as its outdoor media partner.

Ocean has been awarded the rights to develop and market 43 digital advertising screens, murals and experiential spaces within the former power station and its immediate environment as part of a £9bn regeneration project.

The long-term contract was awarded following a competitive pitch managed by The Out of Home Media Consultancy.

Ocean knows the site well, having operated seven billboards on its perimeter in 2010. This was one of Ocean’s first “Ask for it by name” locations where it sold outdoor ads on premium sites as individual, bespoke locations, along with the famous Piccadilly Lights and the IMAX cinema in London.
