Mediatel and the IPA team up on TouchPoints

Mediatel has announced that the IPA’s TouchPoints survey data is now available within its new Consumer Surveys app.

“The TouchPoints self-completion questionnaire contains fantastic insights on how people spend their daily lives, covering attitudes, shopping and media behaviour,” said Rob Laurence, head of Mediatel Connected.

“Mediatel is proud to join other data bureaux in providing the industry with a new way of accessing the survey results.”

Consumer Surveys is the latest app to be launched as part of the Mediatel Connected data and analysis platform and is used across the UK media industry. It provides a quick, comprehensive and unbiased picture of emerging consumer behaviour across all rapidly evolving media.

The application has been designed to make the results accessible to all levels of user with results displayed both visually and in data tables.

Commenting on the partnership, Belinda Beeftink, research director at the IPA, added: “We are delighted to be working with Mediatel to give our subscribers a new option for accessing TouchPoints data. The Consumer Surveys app will enable a wider audience of Touchpoints subscribers to easily access the wealth of insight available from the self-completion questionnaire.”

The TouchPoints data will join other industry standard surveys in the Consumer Surveys app, including BARB Establishment Survey, RAJAR MIDAS and Ofcom Technology Tracker, as well as two exclusive surveys: Mediatel’s own Connected Screens survey and Video & Voice, run by YouGov.

The data is now live in the app and can be accessed by logging in to Mediatel Connected.
