Fresh magazine, the monthly women’s glossy which launched in February (see First Issue Review – Fresh), has been suspended. The title, published by Hair & Beauty and aimed at 18-26 year olds, is believed to have struggled in the fiercely competitive young women’s market which include Minx and Now among its recent launches. A spokesman for the title said that it would decide whether to proceed with the magazine on the results of the July issue which is published on June 26. It is hoped that this issue will sell 55,000 copies.
…Time Inc has bought Wallpaper, the bi-monthly style and interiors magazine, from its publisher Wallpaper Media. The magazine was launched in September.
