London Freesheets Continue To Dent Evening Standard’s Circulation

Newspapers London’s paid-for afternoon newspaper, the Evening Standard, suffered a circulation drop of almost 1.5% from February to March, leaving its total circulation at around 284,000.

Meanwhile free paper, thelondonpaper, saw its circulation again remain relatively static period on period in March, with a total figure of almost 501,000 copies.

It added a little over one hundred issues from February to March.

The London Lite‘s circulation was down by over 1% period on period, or around 4,700 copies, to a total of 395,633.

Morning freesheet, Metro, was also down period on period, to just over 742,000 copies, following a fall of under 1%.

However, City AM posted an increase of 1.5% period on period, taking its circulation figure to over 97,000 copies.
