JCDecaux acquires full ownership in Chicago Expressway

JCDecaux has become the sole-owner of Chicago’s Expressway Digital Billboard Network.

This comes after the world’s biggest outdoor media company increased its stake in Interstate JCDecaux, LLC from 50% to 100%. JCDecaux North America will operate the 52-face network under a long-term agreement with the City of Chicago.

The billboards, which lie in the US’s third largest media market, are digital and most measure 20 feet by 60 feet.

JCDecaux has seen a surge in revenue this year as travel demand has returned following years of pandemic restrictions.
