Jane Wolfson to join Hearst Magazines UK as commercial lead

Hearst Magazines UK, the publisher of Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar, has hired Jane Wolfson as its new head of commercial operations.

Wolfson will join on 17 June from media communications agency, Initiative, where she is part of the senior management team and currently head of commercial strategy and activation.

Reporting to Hearst’s group commercial director Ella Dolphin, Wolfson, who has over 20 years’ media experience, will be responsible for driving the publisher’s commercial strategy.

“As one of the leading digital publishers in the UK with powerful magazine brands that mean so much to today’s consumer, I am really excited to be joining such a formidable business as Hearst Magazines UK,” said Wolfson.

“I look forward to working with Ella and her team to help drive the strategic ambitions of the business.”

Dolphin added: “Jane has a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines and we are thrilled she is joining Hearst Magazines UK at such an exciting time for the business. Jane has a strong commercial and strategic focus as well as excellent relationships with clients and agencies. She is a great addition to Hearst.”
