ITV’s coverage of England’s World Cup Quarter Final defeat to France attracted a peak audience of 21.06 million.

Viewing peaked at 8.55pm, with a peak share of viewing of 68%. The average audience for the timeslot between 7pm and 9pm was 15.04 million viewers in the individuals 4+ category.

These overnight viewing figures do not include streaming or time-shifted viewing.

The BBC will broadcast Tuesday’s Semi-Final match between Croatia and Argentina, while ITV will show France v Morocco on Wednesday.
