As predicted last month, Independent Radio Sales has been taken over by US sales house, The Katz Corporation, leaving IRS group sales director Stan Park as managing director of the company. David Reich will take over as chairman and Julia Calo, already a director with IRS, becomes sales director. IRS was previously a subsidiary of Crown Communications which went into liquidation at the beginning of this year (Newsline 28/1).
