The future of Independent Radio Sales is expected to be decided shortly, ending months of uncertainty for the sales house. IRS has been open to bids since January when parent company Crown Communications went into receivership.
Negotiations with a possible buyer are in advanced stages. Although IRS refuses to name the interested party, industry sources suggest it may be US media company the Katz Corporation.
