Introducing a revamped Media Plan

While “creative” agencies get most of the credit for an ad campaign, advertisers are increasingly relying on media agencies to show creativity on the planning and buying side.

The differing creative approaches taken by media agencies are much less talked about.

As part of The Media Leader’s commitment to showcasing excellence, and to be proud of what it does, we are asking the industry to shout about the creative side of media more. Why wait until awards season to highlight what media agencies can do for clients?

This is why The Media Leader is introducing The Media Plan. An evolution of an existing (albeit irregular) feature, this weekly spotlight will allow a media agency to delve into what makes the work great — from identifying the unique brand challenge to utilising data, from identifying channel choices to measuring success.

The ultimate aim is that a growing bank of The Media Plan pinpoints what good practice looks like and helps elevate the business of media even more.

Media agencies will receive a questionnaire that allows them to explain their media plan in detail and submissions will be considered by The Media Leader team.
