According to leaked figures from ITV’s financial director Granada’s net annual revenue share may have been over- estimated by 0.06%, equating to £1m in money terms.
The implications for contractors are complex in as much as contributions to, and funding from, the Network Centre are all based on percentage share of revenue; for example percentage cuts from sponsorship deals are based on each contractors percentage share of revenue. Additionally it will affect the amount of money paid to the Treasury by each contractor. Station cost per thousands will also be affected.
