God Ads Work Says Research

An advertising campaign promoting religion released before Christmas had a tremendous effect on church attendences, according to a recent examination of the results.

“Come to church this Christmas” was exposed on 20 local radio stations surrounding the Oxford area, as well as 55,000 car stickers and 150 bill- board advertisements. £10,000 was spent on the campaign with attendences rising by 4.5% following its release.

Enthused by its success the Oxford diocese has already planned to run a similar campaign in the area next year.
