Flextech Takes Stake In Family Channel

US pay- television company, Flextech, has taken a 39% stake in The Family Channel, headed by Pat Robertson and due to launch on Astra on September 1. The deal has been valued at £3m, with sources within the company predicting that the channel will be profitable within its first 18 months. Shares in Flextech rose to 98p following the announcement.
