Digital UK restructures senior leadership team

Digital UK, the Freeview and Freesat operator, has restructured its senior leadership team.

Simon Hunt, director of business development and strategy will step down from the role in September following a handover with Samsung’s Deep Halder who will become chief commercial officer.

Hunt will continue in an advisory role until the end of the year.

Eric Mitchell has been promoted with immediate effect to chief finance officer from finance & legal director (pictured, below top left).

Former Channel 4 execs, Sarah Milton and Carl Pfeiffer will continue in a job-share arrangement as chief product officer roles (pictured, below top right and bottom right, respectively).

Orf Warr, previously of Digital TV Group continues as chief technology officer (pictured, below bottom left).
