Among women’s weekly magazines, Bauer Media’s Closer and Heat were the only titles to grow combined print and digital circulation in 2023, according to the latest consumer ABC figures.

Both magazines owe their overall circulation growth to impressive digital growth of 71.3% and 103.9% respectively. Sibling Bauer titles Take a Break (+12.7%) and Bella (+57.8%) also posted double-digit digital circulation growth in 2023, but overall circulation declined due to falling print circulation. Take a Break remains the largest women’s weekly in the UK with total circulation of 271,837.

All women’s weekly print circulations fell this year, with Reach’s OK! showing the sharpest decline at 30.6%.
