ITV’s children’s programming has been revamped for the autumn. The schedule will now simply be known as CITV with the word ‘children’ being dropped. New graphics, logos and jingles will feature alongside the familiar catchphrase “CITV- The Place To Be”.
CITV has also developed a new schedule for Saturday mornings. At 9.25 Simeon Courtie and Sophie Aldred will present WOW, a 90 minute programme focusing on pop, music video reviews, fashion and computer games. It will also feature animated action with The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad The Sailor and Animaniacs.
Former BBC star, Andi Peters, will present a half-hour music programme at 11.00 entitled The Noise. It will feature behind the scenes look at the pop industry with the latest gossip concerning teen-bands.
The Chart Show maintains its current one hour slot from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
