CBS Outdoor has signed a new £12 million contract to manage the advertising on Transdev London United and London Sovereign buses for another five years.

Transdev London United and London Sovereign represent 10% of the London bus market, carrying up to 195 million passengers every year, according to CBS.

Jason Cotterrell, the company’s commercial director, said: “Our renewed contract with Transdev London demonstrates their confidence in us and we are delighted to be working with them for another five years. The partnership ensures that advertisers can continue to target the millions of commuters around London, providing brands with unrivalled exposure in proximity locations every day.

“This long standing relationship is extremely important to CBS Outdoor as Transdev London forms an integral part of both our national and London bus advertising proposition. Our in-depth knowledge and clear understanding of their operations in London means that CBS Outdoor continue to deliver revenues in line with objectives through our award-winning sales team and innovative sales and marketing initiatives.

“This appointment ensures that CBS Outdoor can promote the bus advertising medium with a single voice to compete fiercely for advertising revenue in London.”

The new contract will enable CBS to continue to sell the ad space on the inside and outside of buses belonging to the two operators.
