Capital Radio saw a fall in profits for the six months to March 1993, dropping from £6.29m to £4.65m. Operating costs fell to £10.4m and earnings per share from 6.3p to 4.6p. Sales for the station improved, rising to £14.5m from last period’s £14.2m, with turnover declining to £16.1m from £16.2m. Interim dividends stood at 1.75p.
