Chris Carey, once head of Radio Nova in Dublin, has bought Buzz FM, the Birmingham based station which has been suffering financially for the last few years. Buzz was helped by Radio Clyde two years ago when it started to go under but the money pumped into the station at the time was not enough to keep it above water. Carey aims to broadcast programmes with low budget costs but wide appeal.
