BT signs on-demand film deal with Fox

BT Logo BT has signed a new deal with Twentieth Century Fox to give BT Vision customers access to a range of new and classic film titles.

BT’s digital TV service will feature new films from Twentieth Century Fox, such as The Happening, Shine a Light and Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who, from December 15.

In addition, a number of Fox catalogue titles, including Alien Resurrection, The Beach, Die Hard, Fantastic Four and Ice Age will be made available to BT Vision customers.

Jamie McCabe, executive vice president of Fox, said: “Twentieth Century Fox is proud to partner with BT to provide BT Vision customers access to an exciting collection of new release and classic films.”

Marc Watson, director of content and business development at BT Retail, added: “We’re delighted to reach an agreement so that BT Vision customers can access films from one of Hollywood’s best and most respected studios.”

All Fox films will be available on a pay-per-view basis without the need for a subscription to BT Vision.
