According to a study by Cooper Murphy Webb, 31% of UK iPad owners prefer reading newspaper and magazine content on their iPad.

26% preferred using their laptop, or computer, and 24% preferred reading it in print.

For reading books, 41% of respondents preferred using the iPad, via iBooks.

36% preferred reading printed hardbacks or paperbacks, and 7% preferred using alternative e-readers.

When it came to gaming, 37% of the respondents preferred using their iPad – slightly higher than the 35% who preferred using a games console.

22% preferred playing games on their laptop or computer, while 6% preferred using their mobile phone.
