Whalar Named LinkedIn Marketing Partner for Creators

LinkedIn has named Whalar, an award-winning, full-service creator agency, as its official marketing partner for creators. This collaboration aims to help brands and creators unlock LinkedIn’s full potential as a core platform that drives engagement and growth.

“LinkedIn is a valuable tool that unlocks a unique perspective of storytelling. It’s different from other social platforms given the context that content is created in, allowing creators, innovators and consumers alike to have a share of voice in their craft and interact with their communities,” Neil Waller, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Whalar, said in a statement.

Making sure content aligns with LinkedIn’s professional tone

Through the partnership, Whalar will bring its expertise to pair brands with creators specifically suited for LinkedIn campaigns, ensuring content aligns with the platform’s professional tone. Whalar will also help creators understand how to tailor their content for LinkedIn, maximizing its impact and engagement potential. “There are now more opportunities for creators, who are entrepreneurs and small business owners, allowing them to use the platform as a resource to share their journey, grow in the Creator Economy, and liberate their creative voices”, said Neil Waller, cofounder and co-CEO of Whalar.

The rise of LinkedIn Influencer Marketing

Fueled by a surge in creator-driven content and engagement, LinkedIn is deepening its commitment to creators. This past year alone, the platform saw a 24% increase in public content sharing, with over 139,000 newsletters launched and a staggering 472 million newsletter subscriptions, according to LinkedIn marketing agency Creator Authority.

Challenges and Opportunities

The partnership isn’t without its hurdles. Currently, LinkedIn has a smaller creator pool compared to other platforms, and creator payouts haven’t yet reached their peak. But Whalar sees this as an opportunity. The agency said It will allow early adopters to establish a strong presence and benefit as the platform grows.
