The Future 100 club opens for entries for 2023

Today The Media Leader is delighted to announce that entries for the second annual Future 100 Club are now open and you can nominate someone today by clicking here.

Last year we launched The Future 100 Club as part of our mission to build on our heritage as the home for UK media leadership, and to offer something different and relevant for a new generation.

The Future 100 Club brings together the most diverse group of professionals from across the media ecosystem. Unlike other groupings of rising stars or future leaders lists, there is no barrier or discrimination based on age, time spent in the industry, or current job title.

The four key values that each inductee will be judged upon will be their proven ability to embrace disruption, innovation, courage, and excellence; as we shine a light on 100 professionals each year who exist outside of the C-Suite, helping us understand how we can better educate and serve this industry for future generations.

The inaugural Class of 2022 have been quick to heap praise on the initiative and highlighted the number of benefits and experiences they gained from being the first ever cohort.

Tashan Nicholas, analytics director at the the7stars, said: “The F100 empowered me to show up fully and authentically as me, I’ve been able to connect with other members, attend events, contribute to articles name a few. Most recently me and three other members were given the opportunity to deliver a manifesto on how to empower diverse talent at The Media Leader awards, not sure where else you’re given access to opportunities and a community like this. Amazing!”

Chris Dunne, marketing director at Thinkbox, called being part of the Future 100 “both a professional highlight and a personal pleasure.”

He added: “Just to be amongst this exceptionally talented group of people from across the entire spectrum of the media industry has been rewarding enough, but it’s also provided opportunities to learn, build my personal profile, make valuable connections, and contribute to The Media Leader’s programme of events and content. There’s literally no downside!”

Michelle Sarpong, head of display, audio & OOH activation at the7stars, said: “It was a huge honour to be recognised by an industry-leading organisation like Adwanted UK as a future leader amongst such esteemed company. The cohort this recognition creates is fantastic from the special invitations to events right through to providing you with a platform to showcase your knowledge and talent is fantastic. I couldn’t encourage organisations more to nominate and recognise the future leaders they have in their midst.”

And Julian Borensztein, customer success account director at Integral Ad Science, echoed his fellow Class of 2022’s sentiments when he called being part of the Future 100 a “highlight of my career” and said it had “pushed me to actively participate in industry events and contribute to thought leadership pieces.”

“The connections I’ve made with fellow industry professionals have been exciting and have expanded my perspectives,” he said. “The Future 100 Club’s emphasis on innovation and leadership has propelled my personal and professional growth. I wholeheartedly recommend The Future 100 Club to anyone seeking a transformative experience.”

Entries will close on 1 September and we will announce the Class of 2023 the week commencing 2 October. Nominate a future leader today through the link here.
