Route promotes Euan Mackay to CSO

Route, the UK’s OOH data body, has promoted Euan Mackay to chief strategy officer.

In his new position, Mackay will lead Route’s strategic direction as it prepares to deliver a new research contract that will come into effect in April 2025.

He has spent seven years at the organisation as general manager, helping to build its reputation and promoting Route’s data and research to agencies and advertisers.

Denise Turner, Route’s CEO, said: “As we move towards the new Route contract, our strategy for the now and next becomes even more important. Euan is a trusted, innovative, experienced leader who has already made a significant contribution to Route during a period of major audience change.”

Mackay has previously worked at cultural consultancy Crowd DNA and Kantar Media, most recently as director in charge for pitching for new research projects.
