Hits Radio makes TV ad debut

Bauer radio station Hits Radio has launched its first TV campaign starring presenters Sam Thompson, Fleur East and Gemma Atkinson.

The 30-second spots will be shown during shows including Gogglebox, 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown and Late Night Lycett.

Activity, which also includes OOH, digital and print executions, highlights the role the station plays in its audience’s lives and aims to position Hits Radio as the UK’s pop station for 25- to 44-year-olds.

Thinkfarm created the campaign, with media planning and buying by the7stars.

The news follows the recent announcement that 16 of Bauer’s local stations to Hits Radio.
