Steve Edwards

Steve Edwards is an Executive Director at Media Week’s ‘Media Agency of the Year 2013’ Manning Gottlieb OMD, where he is Founder and Head of Beyond, a growth consultancy for entrepreneurial businesses. Steve built on 20 years media agency experience running major clients from Volkswagen Group, Waitrose, Starbucks and Churchill Insurance when setting up Beyond at Manning Gottlieb OMD in 2011, creating a whole new approach to communications for early stage innovation businesses. Regarded as an industry authority in the area of data empowered consumers and the implications for marketing, he is a regularly invited to speak and commentate on the subject, and is an active participant in the government backed Midata Innovation Lab programme. Steve is constantly looking for new challenges in and out of work. In the last 10 years he has gone to night classes to achieve diplomas in marketing, wine and viticulture. He’s currently putting these to good use building a vineyard from scratch in Slovenia. Expect the first vintage / hangover in 2015.
