Warner Bros. to sell ‘Fellowship of the Ring’ as NFT

Warner Bros. is set to become the first major studio to sell a film as an NFT.
The studio is partnering with content blockchain company Eluvio to launch the “WB Movieverse” with the extended version of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring as a “Web3 Movie Experience”.
The film will be available for purchase as a limited-edition beginning tomorrow.
Owners can watch the film in 4K UHD as well as more than eight hours of special features, in addition to viewing image galleries, discovering hidden augmented reality collectibles, and exploring themed navigation menus.
