Viaplay will launch its streaming service in the UK on 1 November.
The Swedish streaming company is also rebranding Premier Sports, the sports broadcaster it recently acquired, with Viaplay branding. Premier Sports retains the UK broadcast rights for La Liga (Spanish football) and UEFA Nations League matches.
It is offering two packages: a Films & Series package that includes Nordic content, original commissions, and third-party shows; and a more expensive Total package that will also include sport.
The UK launch means Viaplay will be available in 11 countries and it plans to launch in the US and Canada early next year.
